Roy W. Corman, Sr., passed away on July 11, 2025, in Edgewood, Kentucky, at the age of 62, leaving behind a legacy of love, dedication, and enthusiasm. Born on March 29, 1963, in Douglas, Wyoming, Roy was a proud 1981 graduate of Holmes High School, where his passion for wrestling and weight training shone through. His commitment and reliability marked his 22-year tenure at GPC Motions, where he was esteemed for his craftsmanship as a devoted fabricator.

Known for his authentic nature, Roy was recognized for his straightforward and honest approach, alongside his immense generosity. With a vibrant personality, he pursued various interests, from bodybuilding to lifeguarding at Randolph Pool in his earlier years. His love for motorcycles was a significant part of his life, often taking to the road whenever possible. Saturdays were reserved for Buffalo Bobs, where he recommended their bleu cheese dressing with contagious enthusiasm. An ardent supporter of the Ohio State Buckeyes, Green Bay Packers, and University of Kentucky Wildcats, Roy also held a special place for community events like the WEBN Fireworks and Maifest, demonstrating his vibrant spirit and strong bonds with beloved fur companions.

His remarkable journey with Brenda J. Collins spanned over two decades, forming a cornerstone among his cherished family. Roy's enduring impact extends through his children: Gary (Victoria) Ray, Felisha Corman, Robert Wombles, Mandi (Robert) Corman, Roy Corman, Jr., Tabitha (Keith) Maynard, and April King. A devoted grandfather to 22 grandchildren and great-grandfather to five great-grandchildren, Roy's memory will also be treasured by his siblings: Ronald Corman, Russell (Cyndi) Corman, Mary Baker, Dawnell Jennings, and Christina Jennings, as well as his stepfather, Donald Jennings, and a wide circle of relatives and friends.

Preceded in death by his mother JoAnn Jennings (nee Hampton), father Edward Wilson Corman, and brother Edward "Butch" Joe Corman, Roy will be warmly remembered and deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him.

Visitation is scheduled for July 16, 2025, from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM, followed by a funeral service at 5:00 PM, at Newcomer Funeral Home in Erlanger, Kentucky.

Roy W. Corman, Sr.'s impact on his family and community, alongside his vivacious spirit, will forever echo in the hearts of those he touched.
