A 4th-generation home builder with Wilbers and Son Builders, Ed continued a proud family legacy in the building industry for over 50 years. As a past president of the Northern Kentucky Homebuilders' Association, he contributed to shaping the landscape of Northern Kentucky with care, vision, and craftsmanship, leaving behind homes and commercial buildings that stand as a testament to his dedication.
In addition to his professional achievements, Ed's passion for music was a defining aspect of his life. A gifted musician and rock and roll enthusiast, he shared his musical talents through bands like The New Lime Band, Handle With Care, and Ooh La La and the Greasers. He brought joy to audiences with his piano playing, vocals, and performances, and his musical contributions were honored with an induction into the Northern Kentucky Music Legends Hall of Fame in 2014.
Known for his humor and ability to make friends wherever he went, Ed was deeply loved by his family. His presence at his children's and grandchildren's events was a testament to his love and support. A dedicated community member, he was involved in St. Barbara Catholic Church, Citizens Bank of Northern Kentucky, and enjoyed following local sports teams.
Survived by his loving wife, Martha, and their children and grandchildren, Ed leaves behind a legacy of love, generosity, and passion for life. A visitation will be held at Linnemann Funeral Home on June 17, 2025, and a Mass of Christian Burial at St. Barbara Church on June 18, 2025, followed by interment at St. John's Cemetery in Ft. Mitchell. Donations in Ed's memory to Hilarity for Charity or St. Barbara Church are welcomed.
