Survived by his devoted wife, Laura O’Banion Bolt, and his beloved daughters Courtney (Brennan) Bolt and Adrienne Bolt, Mark was a doting grandfather to his cherished “YooHoo” Joslyn Updike, who held a special place in his heart as his best friend and favorite person. Mark took immense pride and joy in his family, cherishing every moment shared with them.
He is also survived by his cherished mother, Delana Sandlin (nee Mobley), sister, Sara (Michael) Ross, brother, Jacob Sandlin, and his nephews Christopher and Cameron Bolt and Oliver Ross, as well as his niece, Gwen Sandlin. Mark is also mourned by his beloved grandmother, Wanda Mobley, in addition to an extensive extended family and friends.
Mark found solace in nature, often engaging in hunting, fishing, or motorcycle rides along scenic routes. His passion for hot rod cars reflected his vibrant personality. He shared a special bond with his blind and deaf cat, Cat.
Mark was preceded in death by his brother Benjamin Christopher Bolt and his grandfather, Roy Mobley.
Visitation and funeral services will be held on June 11, 2025, from 12:00 pm-1:00 pm at Newcomer Funeral Home, 4350 Dixie Hwy Erlanger, Kentucky 41018, with burial to follow at Beech Grove Holiness Cemetery. The family welcomes all who knew and loved Mark to join in celebrating his life.
Mark's lasting legacy will endure in the hearts of his family and friends, recalling his incredible spirit and the love he shared.
