Covington, Kentucky - Thomas S. Hodge, a beloved husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother, and friend, passed away peacefully on June 4, 2025, a few days before his 82nd birthday. Born in Covington to Cecil and Mildred Hodge, Tom lived a life guided by love, loyalty, and strength.

He is survived by his devoted wife of 59½ years, Judy Hodge, who shared a lifelong bond with him since the fourth grade. Together, they raised their three children: Mary, Jenny, and Tommy (Moksha) Hodge. Tom was a cherished grandfather to Ellen and Judy Jean, and a joyful great-grandfather to Adaley, Kaylee, and Aria. Additionally, he leaves behind his sister, Pamela Barton, and numerous extended family members and friends.

Tom's passion for education led him to graduate from the University of Kentucky, where he was a member of Pi Kappa Alpha fraternity, and later earn a master's degree from Xavier University. His career as an educator and as an assistant principal at Walnut Hills High School eventually transitioned into the financial industry. However, his priority always remained providing for his family and supporting his loved ones. Tom was known as the solid rock within his family—a constant source of support and reliability.

He will be remembered for his kind heart and steadfast guidance, leaving a lasting impact on all he encountered. Tom's quiet strength and deep character resonated with all who knew him. A lover of life, family, the outdoors, and his loyal canine companions, he will be dearly missed. In lieu of flowers, donations to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital are welcomed, reflecting a cause close to Tom's heart. Services will be held on Wednesday, June 11th at Forest Lawn Cemetery.
