During his address, Pope Leo XIV mentioned feeling the spiritual presence of Pope Francis. He also highlighted the beatification of priest Camille Costa de Beauregard in Chambéry, France, recognizing his pastoral charity.

The Pope addressed global conflicts, mentioning suffering in Gaza due to starvation and hostilities in Myanmar affecting young lives. He also noted Ukraine's anticipation for peace negotiations.

Pope Leo XIV called upon Mary as a symbol of hope and implored her intercession for peace and comfort for those suffering worldwide. "We implore her intercession for the gift of peace, for support and comfort for those who suffer," he stated.
