For over three decades, Bernadette served as an X-ray technician at St. Elizabeth, where she was known for her skill, dedication, and unwavering kindness to patients and colleagues alike. Her care and compassion extended beyond her work, as she had a gift for making people feel valued and loved.
Family held a special place in Bernadette's heart, and she found joy in simple moments and gatherings with loved ones. Survived by her husband, Chris Bucksath, and daughter, Elizabeth Jane Walden (Sean), as well as siblings and extended family, Bernadette's beautiful spirit lives on in those she touched.
A funeral Mass will be held at St. Barbara Church in Erlanger, KY, followed by burial at Mother of God Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations to BreakthroughT1D are requested. Bernadette's generous heart and joyful soul have left a lasting impact on those who knew her, and she will be deeply missed, always remembered, and forever loved.
