John G. Maddan, 55, Remembered for Fearless Spirit and Sense of Humor

John G. Maddan, age 55, of Erlanger, Kentucky, passed away on March 24, 2025. Born in Bangor, Maine, to Richard A. and Sharon J. Maddan, John is survived by his daughter Lauren Maddan, mother Sharon J. Maddan, sisters Maureen Jarrell, Jill (Len) Conway, Debra (Jack) Yoachim, grandchildren Alaia, Maya, and Jace Collins, cousin and close friend Jason (Derica), long-time friends Sean, Tony, and Eddie “DD,” and many other relatives and friends.

Known for his fearless nature and sharp sense of humor, John enjoyed off-roading, four-wheelers, drag racing, and Bubbafest weekends. He had a passion for motorized vehicles and loved cooking for loved ones. An aviation maintenance graduate, John had a successful career in aviation mechanics, management, and engine assembly at GE Aerospace.

A memorial service and visitation will be held on Thursday, April 3, 2025, at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions in Erlanger, Kentucky. Condolences and memories can be shared in the guestbook. Flowers and memorial trees can be sent in honor of John G. Maddan.
