The City of Erlanger is set to conduct a Regular Council Meeting on February 4, 2025. The meeting will take place at the Erlanger City Building located at 505 Commonwealth Avenue, Erlanger, Kentucky, commencing at 7:00 p.m.
The agenda for the meeting includes several key items. Following the call to order, invocation, pledge to the flag, and roll call, the minutes from the January 7, 2025 meeting will be reviewed. There will be special presentations including a "Business Spotlight" on Emerson’s Bakery and an Oath of Office Ceremony for Keiana Sherman as Fire/EMS Shift Lieutenant.
Reports will be presented by various city officials including the Mayor, City Administrator, and City Attorney. Updates on capital projects and reports from department heads are also scheduled. This includes discussions about occupational licenses and the EONS Park Grant Agreement funding timeline.
Further topics include reports from task forces and consideration of bids. Unfinished business will be addressed alongside new business matters which involve an executive session under KRS 61.810(1)(b) regarding deliberations on future real property transactions by a public agency.
Legislation to be discussed involves a second reading of an ordinance text amendment concerning building material sales (Exhibit A), municipal orders related to waste collection agreement extension (Contract), and surplus property (Attachment).
