Dwight V. “Mac” McNeil, 94, of Highland Heights, Kentucky, passed away on Wednesday, November 27, 2024, at St. Elizabeth Healthcare in Edgewood. Born on April 5, 1930, in Rockhold, Whitley County, Kentucky to Elmer and Marie (Walders) McNeil, Dwight served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War and retired as an Assembler for General Motors in Norwood, Ohio after 30 years. He was dedicated to volunteering at Soup Kitchens, Master Provisions, and Isaiah House, helping those in need.

Dwight enjoyed flea markets, garage sales, gardening, attending church, and spending time with family and friends. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Billie F. Shupe, his parents, and siblings Willie McNeil, Terry McNeil, and Mary Sexton.

He is survived by his wife of 32 years, Dawn (Clem) McNeil; children Verna Hatcher, Pamela Huffman, Joyce Pearson, Kimberly Cummins, and Paul Dwight McNeil; grandchildren; and great-grandchildren.

A visitation will be held on Wednesday, December 4, 2024, from 10:00 am to 11:00 am at Faith Church in Erlanger, KY, followed by a memorial service. Interment with Military Honors will be at the Kentucky Veterans Cemetery North in Williamstown. Memorial contributions are suggested to Isaiah House Ministries in Erlanger.
