Roy E. Carpenter, 65, of Ludlow, Passes Away Surrounded by Family

Roy E. Carpenter, 65, of Ludlow, passed away on Wednesday, November 20, 2024, at Rosedale Green in Latonia, surrounded by his family. Born on April 7, 1959, in Maysville, Kentucky, to Charles W. Sr and Louise (Brewer) Carpenter, Roy worked as a customer service representative and participated in various activities such as golf, softball, fishing, and enjoying 80's Big Hair music. He was also known to be a Candy Crush gamer.

He is survived by his wife of 45 years, Barbara R. (Garnett) Carpenter; daughters, Stefanie Carpenter Stubblefield, Nevaeh Grace Carpenter; granddaughter, Liberty Belle Stubblefield; and sister, Charlotte Carpenter Lokesak. Roy was preceded in death by his parents, Charles and Louise Carpenter.

A visitation will be held on Saturday, November 30, 2024, from 12:00 Noon to 2:00 pm at Middendorf-Bullock Funeral Home in Erlanger, followed by a Celebration of Life Reception at Garzelli's Pub and Pizza in Erlanger.

Memorial contributions are suggested to UC Health Foundation, Cincinnati Children's Hospital Medical Center, or Rosedale Green and Emerald Trace in Covington, KY. Expressions of sympathy can be shown by ordering memorial trees or flowers through the funeral home's website.
