Lloyd Memorial High School faced a narrow defeat in the Kentucky High School Athletic Association (KHSAA) football playoffs on November 15, losing to Russell High by a score of 21-20.
According to reports, the Lloyd Juggernauts maintained a lead throughout the fourth quarter until Russell scored seven points, securing their victory. Previously, Lloyd had triumphed over Bath County in Round 1 of the KHSAA playoffs on November 8, with a decisive score of 42-14. As a result of their win against Lloyd, Russell will advance to Round 2 on November 22 to face Belfry.
